Port of Cork
Port Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Cork, County Cork, Ireland)

The port of Cork's ferry terminal has limited facilities and passengers requiring facilities beyond waiting areas and refreshments should head into Ringaskiddy where the post office offers a bureau de change counter and tourist information centre. Cork is not much further up the sound for a much larger selection of services.

Ringaskiddy can provide ATMs, restaurants, petrol, lower market accommodation (B&Bs) and some convenience item shopping.

Cork, on the other hand is one of Ireland's main cities with a large scope of problem solving resources.

Cork is a particularly popular Irish tourist destination and its hotels enjoy high occupancy levels. Good choices close to the harbour are situated in the neighbouring village of Ringaskiddy, while Cork vacation rentals are also worth considering and range from rural-style cottages and city apartments, to self-catering holiday homes located around nearby Sandycove Beach.
